- Trinity from The Matrix

- As part of my second theme for The Moving Body, I gained Inspiration from two things, Sci-Fi Films and the culture of wanderers and modern day nomads. I love stills from Sci-Fi films such as The Matrix because they have great perspective and there is much action so lots of movement as well. For this side of my project I'm leaning to more of a fashion editorial theme, while with photographs inspired by Charlotte Rudolph I was leaning more to complete editorial. With this specific still from The Matrix, I really enjoy the green tint. In my upcoming shoot I plan to use a green tint as well.

- Leeloo from The Fifth Element

- The Fifth Element, while being quite an over the top movie had amazing styling on one of it's main characters named Leeloo. This is one of the few Sci-Fi films to have haute-couture costume design. The clothing that Leeloo wears was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. The styling in this film is very similar to what I would like to achieve with my upcoming photoshoot. It is definitely quite futuristic but at the same time it seems a bit rough and worn. It doesn’t look shiny and unrealistic. I like the dystopian feel of these photographs. Unlike other Science Fiction films where everything is ultra futuristic. I love the styling on the first photograph, it has both shiny futuristic clothing and the orange suspender-like piece is very organic and looks like it has more texture. Although I can’t dye a friend's hair orange for my shoot as much as I'd like to. The character's hair color adds so much to these stills as well.
